6th Strategic Seminar to Promote Collaboration between the Academy, Universities, and Industry

The Society for New Materials and Technologies (SNMT) cordially invites you to the 6th Strategic Seminar dedicated to one of the key topics for the future of European industry – Lightweighting, i.e. lightening through advanced materials and technologies, which will be held on September 18, 2025 at the premises of the Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava.

The aim of the seminar is to introduce the new European project Interreg Europe – Lightweight EU, assess the current state of lightweighting at the European and national levels, and strengthen the connection between research, industry and the public sector.
